Senior Site Manager / Project Manager
Hays Construction are partnering with a highly respected regional main contractor with a strong presence across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and the wider Thames Valley.
With a secured pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex projects across the commercial, life sciences, education and advanced manufacturing sectors, they are looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to join the team on a flagship £40m development in Oxford.

Reporting into the Project Manager, you will become a key member of the site leadership team with significant responsibility and autonomy.
The successful candidate will play a major role in the day-to-day delivery of the project, helping drive programme, quality and safety targets while coordinating multiple subcontractors and work packages across the scheme.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager with a main contractor Track record delivering projects valued in excess of £20m
- Experience on both refurbishment and new build projects
- Strong understanding of structural works, building envelope and internal fit-out packages
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex programmes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to maintain programme whilst delivering quality and safety standards
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- Experience within life sciences, healthcare, research facilities or other technically complex environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.
