Mechanical Service Engineer (Local Patch)
Location: Orpington (service area within 10‑mile radius). Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 plus optional overtime at 1.5×. Benefits include 33 days holiday, van, and door‑to‑door pay.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining fuel pumps in supermarket forecourts.
- Traveling to customer sites within a 10‑mile radius of your home.
- Working independently with initial shadowing and training.
- Completing specialist courses and ongoing professional development.
- Reporting status and maintaining accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- Mechanical background with experience as a service engineer on pumps, gauges or similar equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work lone.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Background reference: BBBH 25351a.
