Our Client, Oldham Council, is seeking an Adult’s Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team. This is a Hybrid Working Role!

Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour!

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide practice leadership and supervision to social work and support staff
  • Ensure lawful, high-quality practice under the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding legislation
  • Oversee complex and high-risk cases, offering guidance on risk, capacity, and best-interest decisions
  • Support work allocation, workflow, and performance management
  • Promote effective multi-agency working across health, housing, and partner services
  • Quality‑assure casework, recording, and statutory timescales
  • Deputise for the Team Manager and contribute to service improvement

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
  • Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
