This growing structural engineering consultancy based in central Nottingham is constantly delivering practical and innovative engineering solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You’ll be delivering high-quality design in a collaborative working environment that places a high value on your experience using Revit.
The Role
- You will work closely with the BIM Manager and other experienced Revit Technicians to produce accurate technical drawings and models for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce structural drawings and details using AutoCAD (and/or Revit where applicable).
- Assist engineers in developing structural design solutions.
- Prepare general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, and structural layouts.
- Coordinate drawings with architects and other consultants.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control where required.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Structural Technician within a UK consultancy.
- Proficiency in Revit as well as AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of structural detailing for all main materials.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches and calculations.
