Overview
Job Title: Production Engineer. Location: Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
- Produce quotations and support customer discussions.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
- Provide technical support to production teams on the shop floor.
- Monitor job progress and help resolve production or technical issues.
- Carry out inspection and quality checks on finished components.
- Manage concessions, NCRs, and customer quality queries.
- Support audits and maintain quality system requirements.
- Oversee packaging and dispatch of completed parts.
Qualifications
Strong engineering background, ideally within composites or a related manufacturing sector.
Confident decision‑maker with the ability to take ownership of tasks and outcomes.
Comfortable balancing technical engineering work, customer interaction, production support, and quality responsibilities.
