We are currently supporting a leading retailer during a period of significant transformation. This is a high impact, strategic contract role designed for a seasoned Project Manager to lead a major Cost Optimisation initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and govern the cost-saving project lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met and benefits are tracked.
- Confidently navigate interactions with C-Suite executives and Finance teams, translating complex project data into actionable insights.
- Manage and mentor a challenging internal team, maintaining morale and productivity during a period of change.
- Serve as a flexible communicator who can balance the high-pressure demands of consultants with the operational realities of the business.
Experience Required
- Cost Optimisation Expert: Proven track record of delivering tangible cost-saving results within large scale organisations.
- Procurement Specialist: Deep experience in Project Management specifically within a Procurement or Supply Chain context.
- Previous experience within the retail sector.
- Comfortable presenting to and influencing C-Suite stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
