Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a new opportunity with an established contractor? We are working with a leading construction and property services business to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to support their operations across Nottingham and the East Midlands. The organisation has a turnover of more than £700m and works with a number of major clients across the property sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business where you will have a hands‑on role in supporting and improving Health and Safety standards across a range of sites.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

Providing practical Health and Safety advice and ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed Keeping up to date with changes to Health and Safety legislation and supporting the business with any required changes Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and audits while working closely with site and operational managers Working with clients and other external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, property or building maintenance Hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders UK Driver's license is essential.
