Ridgeway & Co are recruiting on behalf of a growing Main Contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established business with a strong pipeline of work across East Anglia, delivering projects within the commercial, education, healthcare, residential and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project costs, budgets and commercial performance
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Preparation and agreement of variations
- Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Valuations and payment applications
- Final accounts preparation and negotiation
- Commercial risk management
- Working closely with operational and project delivery teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Main contractor experience
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
