What You'll Do:
Join a busy manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently. You'll respond to equipment breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance, support continuous improvement projects and work across a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding quickly to equipment failures and minimising downtime
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Supporting small engineering projects and site improvements
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
- Working closely with production teams to ensure operational performance
What You'll Bring:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience of fault finding and problem solving
- Welding skills would be advantageous
- PLC experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
