Job DescriptionWe are working with a client undertaking a commercial project in Norfolk. We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work within a commercial team on site.
Your Day-To-Day Duties
- Day-to-day commercial and surveying activities on a £30m prison project
- Review and assess subcontractor valuations and applications for payment
- Prepare monthly cost reports, accruals and cost-to-complete forecasts
- Assist with subcontract procurement, tender analysis and commercial comparisons
- Monitor project costs, expenditure and profitability against budget
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and wider site team
- Support with measurements, variations, valuations and general quantity surveying duties
- Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular cost updates
The Requirements
- Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Self-motivated and an ability to work alone
- Ability to take initiative in resolving problems.
- Previous surveying responsibilities
- Ability to us MS Excel
Salary & Package
The rate on offer is negotiable, dependent on an individuals experience.
