A well-established ground investigation contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support ongoing projects across the North East region. This is a hands-on, fully site-based role suited to someone from a contracting ground investigation background who enjoys managing day-to-day site operations and being actively involved in fieldwork. There are no office-based reporting responsibilities attached to this position.
The Role
- Supervising ground investigation and drilling activities
- Managing subcontractors and site operations
- Logging soil and rock samples
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
- Working across infrastructure, commercial, and development schemes
- Travelling to projects throughout the region with occasional working away
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within a site investigation contractor environment
- Strong understanding of ground investigation works
- Experience supervising field operations
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Positive and flexible approach to site work
Package
