BAM Ground Engineering Drill & Blast Department have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Driller; this is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional individual to receive the necessary training and experience to become a quarry driller for the future. Responsibilities:
  • Operate drilling rigs.
  • Maintain equipment.
  • Work alongside blasting teams to deliver safe, efficient results.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, quality, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in quarry drilling industry is not essential but desirable.
  • Experience working outdoors, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Training (One Day).
  • Manual Handling Training.
  • Experience in working on construction sites.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong communication, motivational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, including some overnight stays away from home.
