Bridgestone Group is working with an innovative engineering business that is seeking a commercially minded Project Manager to oversee the coordination and delivery of projects across its growing portfolio, particularly within solar and renewable infrastructure. This role focuses on operational control, documentation and commercial oversight, rather than day‑to‑day site management. You will act as the central point of coordination between internal teams, clients and external delivery partners, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end delivery of projects from contract award through to completion
- Prepare and manage contracts, scopes of work and full project documentation
- Oversee project programmes, costs, milestones and reporting
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Attend site visits as required (CSCS card required)
- Monitor delivery performance and support issue resolution
- Ensure appropriate governance, compliance and reporting processes are followed
- Provide commercial and operational input to support business growth
Ideal Background
- Proven experience in a Project Manager or Project Delivery role within construction, infrastructure or engineering
- Strong understanding of steelwork and solar projects
- Experience within solar, renewables or battery storage projects is highly desirable
- Commercially astute with strong documentation and coordination skills
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast‑growing and entrepreneurial business
- Organised, proactive and confident managing multiple stakeholders
- Qualifications are flexible – relevant experience and capability in a similar role is the priority
