WORKING HOURS: 36 Hours per Week: 06:00-13:30/13:30-21:00 Monday to Thursday, 06:00-12:00/12:00-18:00 Friday (Probationary period - day shift for training purposes: 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday)
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a busy manufacturing site maintaining electrical and mechanical plant and equipment. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will take a hands‑on, proactive approach to maintenance, fault finding and repair across a wide range of production machinery and factory services. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will support planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response and installation projects, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency. This role offers long‑term stability within a successful organisation committed to continuous improvement and employee development.
DUTIES
- Planned Maintenance: Carrying out PPM activities across machinery, plant and site services
- Reactive Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Fault Finding: Troubleshooting issues on PLC and HMI‑controlled equipment
- Installation Work: Completing electrical installations including armoured cable, lighting and power systems
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining extrusion lines, injection moulding machines and automated assembly cells
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions
