Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers, producing some of the nation's most recognised products. Due to continued investment, they are now looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining high-speed automated production lines, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Fault find on electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
- Minimise downtime through quick and effective breakdown response
- Maintain high-speed machinery and plant equipment
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes
- Work towards site KPIs including OEE and efficiency
- Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
About You
- Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and sensors
- Mechanical maintenance experience (bearings, conveyors, gearboxes)
- Background in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing
- Experience working shifts as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
