Job Description

Motorcycle Technician

Salary: Β£32,000 - Β£40,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required

MOT Licence: Ideally required (or willingness to work towards it)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our busy and well-established dealership. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of motorcycles across a wide range of makes and models. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced workshop, requiring strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on all makes of motorcycles
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs (including PDI checks, tyres, brakes, oil changes, clutch work, and accessory installations)
  • Conduct road tests to ensure correct operation and safety after service or repair
  • Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
  • Identify and report additional work or faults to service advisors or management
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within allocated times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Provide a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction

About You

  • Proven experience as a motorcycle or automotive technician
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • MOT licence (/ideally required)
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy workshop
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Passion for motorcycles (desirable)
