Pay Rates:
- Days: £18.97 per hour
- Backs: £22.78 per hour
- Nights: £24.10 per hour
- Overtime 1.5: £28.47 per hour
- Overtime 2.0: £37.96 per hour
(3-Shift Rotation - Flexibility required across all shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and weld heavy-duty fixtures and assemblies to strict, tight tolerances.
- Work using both MIG and MMA welding processes to high engineering standards.
- Follow standard work procedures strictly while maintaining a zero-compromise attitude toward workplace safety.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams while taking full ownership of independent work tasks.
- Perform standard manual handling and lifting in line with safety guidelines.
- Conduct detailed quality checks to ensure fault-free output on every weld.
Required:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding (or equivalent time-served apprenticeship).
Experience: Proven industrial experience in MIG and MMA welding.
Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to weld to tight tolerances.
Flexibility: Full availability to work across Days, Backs, and Night shift rotations.
Desired: Previous experience in heavy engineering or automotive manufacturing environments.
