An established and highly regarded construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across Central London. The Role

Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you will be involved in the successful delivery of projects from early‑stage cost planning through to final account. The position offers a strong blend of client‑facing responsibility, technical commercial work and project leadership. Projects are primarily located across Central London, with occasional involvement in wider UK schemes depending on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Procurement and subcontract management
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Identifying and managing commercial risk
  • Supporting junior members of the commercial team where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MEP Quantity Surveyor or Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor within construction, consultancy or major projects environments
  • Experience delivering medium to large‑scale MEP projects
  • Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships effectively
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • MRICS or progressing towards chartership would be advantageous
