About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator in our Kerry Team in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is a full‑time, permanent position based on shift work, rotating early (0600–1400) and afternoon (1400–2200) shifts, Monday to Friday; and one weekend a month.
Where will you work?
Our Kerry site in Menstrie has a manufacturing history dating back over 250 years. The current plant has been largely developed over the last 30 years and is now a highly sophisticated, leading edge semi‑continuous process plant with high levels of automation, process control and hygienic design standards. We manufacture yeast‑based ingredients for a variety of food and cell nutrition applications, as well as being a leading supplier of yeast to the whisky industry.
What will you do?
- Manually pack 25kg product into sacks.
- Palletise and present finished product ready for dispatch.
- Maintain SAP and paper records for Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Manufacture in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), site procedures and standard processes.
- Adhere to food safety controls across the site.
- Maintain day‑to‑day throughput within the area by applying a safety‑first, quality‑always approach.
- Escalate plant issues to the Operational Team Leader promptly.
What do you need to be successful?
- Be computer literate and comfortable using digital systems (SAP, MS Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly in English and work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate good numerical skills.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Experience working shifts and following strong health & safety and food safety practices is beneficial.
- Forklift experience or a valid licence is beneficial.
