  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be involved in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of advanced mechanical and hydraulic equipment used in demanding subsea environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, sub‑assemblies, and complete assemblies
  • Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products
  • Manufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipework
  • Pressure testing, setup, and functional testing of a wide range of tooling and assemblies
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure quality standards and project deadlines are achieved
  • Completing all relevant documentation, including quality records, timesheets, NCRs, and ECNs

About You

  • A background in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance
  • Experience as an automotive mechanic, vehicle technician, or similar hands‑on engineering role
  • A solid understanding of mechanical engineering practices and assembly techniques
  • Completed a mechanical apprenticeship or have equivalent shop‑floor engineering experience
  • A strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail
