We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing and ambitious contractor specialising in commercial fit out projects across London. This role will suit someone who enjoys managing multiple fast-moving projects and wants to be part of a business that is scaling up, offering genuine long-term progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • You will take responsibility for 2–3 concurrent commercial CAT A & CAT B fit out projects, with a combined mechanical value of around £1 million.
  • Working closely with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical packages from pre-construction, design coordination and procurement through to delivery and final handover.
  • Act as the main client-facing point of contact for mechanical delivery.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure programme, quality and H&S compliance.
  • Monitor costs, variations, valuations and reporting in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Oversee commissioning, O&M manuals and final account processes.
  • Support business growth by building strong client and supply chain relationships.

  • Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on commercial fit out projects (CAT A / CAT B).
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of design & build processes, programme management and commercial control.
  • Proactive, driven and keen to grow with a developing business.
