My client is firmly established as one of the fastest growing MEP Contractors in the UK, recognised for delivering dynamic, fast-paced commercial fit-out and Shell & Core projects across London and the South East. This is not a corporate machine where you disappear into the background. If you are commercially sharp, technically confident and want your career progression to reflect your performance, this opportunity offers exactly that. They are looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of either one large scheme or a portfolio of smaller fast-track projects running concurrently. This role will suit someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and enjoys taking real responsibility for delivery.
To be considered, you must have managed mechanical teams on commercial projects and have a strong mechanical bias with proven delivery experience.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Taking full operational responsibility for mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion
- Driving programme performance and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Working closely with the commercial team to maintain cost control, protect margin and maximise value
- Leading and coordinating Engineers, Site Managers and Supervisors
- Chairing client and consultant meetings, acting as the mechanical delivery lead
- Managing procurement and subcontractor performance
- Maintaining high Health & Safety standards and site compliance
- Identifying buildability improvements and programme efficiencies
