DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing & Event Planning Coordinator assists with and is responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives, distributing marketing collateral material among the regional offices and ensuring that advertising and promotional messages are consistent and representative of the ServisFirst brand, including social media.

The incumbent will:

  • Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, sales literature and promotional items, ensuring all communications are consistent with the ServisFirst brand
  • Assist in executing marketing strategies and objectives
  • Coordinate all business development events and initiatives in Birmingham
  • Coordinate all advertising and public communications with Regional CEOs and Compliance Officer
  • Coordinate and manage bank social media
  • Support Regional Bank business development and marketing events as necessary
  • Support CEO and Senior Management with communication and marketing activities
  • Manage company website as needed
  • Provide marketing support for community and company events, including promotional materials, collateral and giveaways or sponsorships
  • Manage and control all marketing supplies
  • Maintain an accurate master business development list for the Birmingham Bank
  • Reconcile monthly loan and deposit pipeline throughout the company
  • Conduct market research such as demographics, deposit amounts, and periodic account analysis for review
  • Track and manage charitable giving and sponsorships including participation for local market
  • Assist in Investor Relations duties, helping to schedule and publish press releases, as well as releases on the wire
  • Works with the Marketing Director on all marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in marketing and working with customers
  • Experience in a position requiring attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a position managing multiple tasks within deadlines
  • Ability to work closely with internal clients and vendors in meeting deadlines and obtaining necessary approvals
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and other software
  • Marketing experience is a plus, particularly in developing marketing collateral and advertisements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

The physical requirements and environmental conditions of this position consist primarily of:

  • Sustained standing and sitting
  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor
  • Occasional presentations requiring public speaking to small groups
  • Lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs
  • Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low level noise
