My client is looking for an experienced Marine Underwriter to join their growing team.
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000-£100,000
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Marine Underwriter with experience managing marine risks and developing profitable portfolios within the London market.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of marine business.
- Assess new business opportunities and renewals.
- Develop and maintain strong broker relationships.
- Analyse risks and make commercially sound underwriting decisions.
- Support portfolio growth and profitability targets.
- Work closely with internal teams and market stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in Marine Underwriting.
- Strong knowledge of marine classes and market conditions.
- Established relationships within the London insurance market.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial approach with strong underwriting judgement.
