Conduct inspection and dimensional report utilizing laser trackers, Faro arms and high volume scanners. Generate detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality. Conduct laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturing. Perform inspection tasks for new designs and design changes. Interface with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to address product issues. Create and deliver quality inspection plans and reports that provide data to Manufacturing and customers. Review inspection data and assist in the development of preventative action plans. Retrieve quality data and communicate results and statuses to internal and external customers.
Skills Required:
- Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Experience using PolyWorks software
- Experience using the following measurement/inspection equipment:
- Portable CMM
- Laser Tracker
- High Volume Scanner (ex. Surphaser)
Education Required:
4 year technical degree or relevant experience
