Salary - £32,000 - £36,000 / year + van and fuel card

Permanent Role

Ground Investigation Contractor

Site based - Manchester

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and managing teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects
  • Ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense
  • Logging rock and soil samples (such as boreholes and trial pits)
  • Carrying out field testing and surveying
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Degree level in a related field (e.g. Geology or Geotechnical Engineering)
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in ground investigations and in-situ testing
  • Contractor background with hands-on field experience
  • Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior engineers
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • A full UK driving licence
