Ground Investigation Contractor
Site based - Manchester
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and managing teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects
- Ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense
- Logging rock and soil samples (such as boreholes and trial pits)
- Carrying out field testing and surveying
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Degree level in a related field (e.g. Geology or Geotechnical Engineering)
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in ground investigations and in-situ testing
- Contractor background with hands-on field experience
- Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A full UK driving licence
