A UK based Building Services Consultancy is expanding their Northern team and currently requires a Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber ideally with water hygiene experience to work on commercial sites in the North-West.

Responsibilities

  • Working on plant/tank rooms undertaking leak detection on tanks/pipes and repairing/replacing any mains pipework.
  • Resolving other maintenance focused plumbing issues including TMV install/replace, removal of deadlegs and replacing float valves.
  • Investigating and resolving any emergency plumbing issues to ensure the continued smooth running of the site.
  • Carrying out basic water hygiene work for site completion.
  • Ensuring all sites are compliant and in line with HSG274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Maintaining site logbooks and with recommendations for future work.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience working as a Remedial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber in either a Commercial or Residential setting.
  • Hold plumbing qualifications including NVQ Level 2 & Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Full driving license (essential).
  • DBS checked (enhanced).
