Recruitment Solutions are pleased to be partnering with a new client to appoint a Manufacturing Demand Planner. Our client has been established for over 30 years – they sell their products in over 98 countries and manufacture across 3 countries – the business has plans to expand the Group and therefore is looking to appoint a demand planner from the manufacturing sector.
Our client will be looking for you to provide detailed and reliable forecast product demand data, along with strong and commercially minded management of inventory levels so that the business can meet its customer needs.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Preparation – report and analysis of historical sales data and market trends – this will feed into your demand planning forecasts
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders – to include sales, marketing, and manufacturing production teams – you will then work with senior management teams to align inventory strategies and business objectives
- Monitor inventory levels – to allow for adjustment of production plans – therefore reducing overproduction
- Preparing and presenting reports – across demand forecasts and inventory
- Utilizing statistical models and forecasting tools
