Company: My client is a specialist supplier of products and machinery. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
- Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills
- Ideally some background working with CNC machinery
- Experience servicing, maintaining and testing CNC machinery
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
- Team player who is passionate about their work
- Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to deliver and service machinery (Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and repair)
- Training customers on how to use their machinery and electrical servicing, with some mechanical elements
- Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
- Developing strong relationships with customers
