Company: My client is a specialist supplier of products and machinery. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
  • Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills
  • Ideally some background working with CNC machinery
  • Experience servicing, maintaining and testing CNC machinery
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
  • Team player who is passionate about their work
  • Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
  • Holds a full UK driving licence

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to deliver and service machinery (Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and repair)
  • Training customers on how to use their machinery and electrical servicing, with some mechanical elements
  • Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
  • Developing strong relationships with customers
