The purpose of this role is to lead the assigned engineering scope within Large Projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The role is accountable for maximizing value engineering for our customers while increasing the project share of wallet.
A key responsibility is to lead, coach, and support Design Engineers in delivering complex technical solutions under demanding project conditions, using a structured, proactive, and self-driven approach. The Lead Engineer role is part of the Regional Project Management Office (PMO) organization and reports to PMO Manager in GB.
What You'll do
- The Lead Engineer is responsible for executing and delivering charged engineering services for Large Projects across the Northern Europe region.
- Lead the assigned project team of Design Engineers to ensure technical objectives are achieved in line with the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
- Ensure design optimization in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices, while fully meeting customer requirements.
- Works in close coordination with other project team roles to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality engineering and on-time delivery of both services and hardware.
- Provides technical advisory support and coordination with the customer’s discipline specialists.
- Actively supports Project Management in the development of project frameworks, with particular focus on scope feasibility and overall time assessment.
