My Client, a specialist remediation and flood risk management Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their team in Manchester. You will join a growing team of Flood Risk Consultants who specialise in flood risk appraisals and due diligence for Property Developers, Insurance Companies and Commercial Clients across the UK.

As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be a key part of the team, providing advice to Clients to identify cost-effective solutions to mitigate flood risk and ensure sites adhere to statutory requirements, prior to purchase. You will be expected to complete risk assessments, targeting flood mitigation strategies, flood risk assessments, flood risk appraisals and pre-acquisition due diligence.

You will have the chance to liaise with a variety of Clients across the UK to discuss mitigation strategies and provide advice, prior to purchase. You will also have the chance to complete drainage strategies and pre-planning projects in the upcoming months.

This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package and the chance to join a growing team in Manchester. Alternative offices available in Yorkshire.

Candidates are required to have an academic background in Flood Risk Management, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk appraisals and flood risk assessments. Candidates are required to work from the office three days a week.
