A well-established Further Education College in the Merseyside area is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join its Engineering department on a temporary, full-time, ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of electricians by delivering high-quality teaching across Level 1-3 Electrical Installation programmes. You will work with both full-time learners and apprentices, helping them develop the practical skills and technical knowledge required for successful careers in the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Level 1-3 Electrical Installation programmes.
- Support both apprentices and full-time learners in achieving their qualifications.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning to ensure outstanding student outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes.
- Work closely with employers and industry partners to support learner progression.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to learners, encouraging achievement and progression.
About You
- A strong background in Electrical Installation with relevant industry experience.
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Assessor and/or IQA qualifications are desirable.
- Experience delivering Electrical Installation within a Further Education or apprenticeship setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
- A passion for developing learners and supporting them to reach their full potential.
