BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

  • Leads and coordinates activities in the maintenance department to meet organizational objectives in equipment uptime, process improvement, productivity, employee relations, safety, quality, and maintenance costs.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Proficient in such skilled maintenance activities as: electrical, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, welding, carpentry, pneumatics, mechanical or machining type work.
  • Operates machine tools, hand tools, various test equipment as well as other types of maintenance equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance activities.
  • Interprets diagrams, specifications, and drawings.
  • Performs all work in compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations.
  • Assigns and coordinates Support Associates (Maintenance).
  • Assist in development, implementation, and revision of Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Maintain inventory and records of maintenance supplies and equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate with minimum of 2 years vocational training in one or more maintenance related areas (or equivalent experience may be substituted). A minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance work experience is .
