Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who is looking to develop their career within maintenance planning and coordination. The role will initially be offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent. Full training will be provided; however, previous experience in planning, scheduling, or a similar coordination role would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance workflows received via the helpdesk.
- Prioritise and schedule multiple planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Monitor the progress of work and communicate any delays to the relevant teams.
- Handle client calls and log faults on the CMMS system.
- Support day-to-day management of the CAFM system.
- Work closely with Team Leaders within the planning office to ensure efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Monitor CAFM data, including PPM and reactive work orders.
- Assist with reporting and ensure accurate data management for all tasks logged on the system.
Requirements
- Previous experience using CAFM systems (desirable).
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous planning or scheduling experience (desirable).
- Proven experience in a similar coordination or administrative role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
