Connect Appointments is recruiting Machine Operators to join an established packaging and print business based in East Kilbride. Our client operates a busy production facility, manufacturing cardboard packaging products across a range of specialist machinery.

What's on offer?

  • Ongoing temporary position
  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15pm (with an early Friday finish)
  • £13.50 per hour (paid weekly)

As a Machine Operator, your duties will include:

  • Operating and monitoring production machinery including Casemakers, Flatbed Die-Cutters and Gluers
  • Loading raw materials and ensuring a smooth flow through the production process
  • Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications
  • Carrying out basic machine maintenance and cleaning, reporting any issues promptly
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets in line with safety and housekeeping procedures

To be considered as a Machine Operator, you will need:

  • A good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to production schedules
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing or packaging environment is advantageous but not essential
