Your new role
As Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in securing raw materials. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will lead procurement activity to support commercially attractive sales, production continuity and long‑term growth. You will manage and develop supplier relationships from initial engagement through to ongoing account management, ensuring quality compliance, competitive pricing and reliable delivery. The role is primarily office‑based, allowing close collaboration with the procurement team and internal stakeholders, with UK travel to supplier sites when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing existing supplier accounts while identifying new supply opportunities
- Responding to dynamic material pricing to meet commercial and contribution targets
- Monitoring supplier capacity against current and future production demand
- Analysing market trends and sharing insights with internal stakeholders
- Trading materials excess to production requirements
- Maintaining quality and compliance standards across all feedstock materials
