Job Description
The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer, based in Loughborough, to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other electrical work packages.
- Use Solid Works Electrical to create electrical schematics, 3D models and manufacturing documents for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Generate electrical drawings and panel layouts with supporting electrical documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts etc).
- Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments.
- Maintain a database of electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of Solid Works Electrical or a similar CAD package.
- Experience with schematic capture and harness design.
- Ideal for a graduate with electrical design experience.
