World Wide Technology EMEA has a contract opportunity for a Project Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology projects for enterprise customers, for an initial 6 months. This role focuses on driving successful outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, technical understanding, and disciplined project execution across global teams.
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for leading complex technical project deliveries, engaging directly with customers and partners, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of data centre environments, and the ability to manage global project execution.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Understand high and low level technical architecture and facilitate debate while driving decisions on appropriate solutions
- Ensure company requirements are produced to standard in a timely manner
- Develop and present comprehensive technical solutions to customers
- Communicate and hold conference calls with internal teams, customers, and partners
- Manage complex installations and report and elevate all observed problems to proper operational escalation points
- Manage communication of project changes and release notices to customers
- Document technical and operational procedures clearly and concisely
- Be willing to work irregular hours as required
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in project delivery management
- Minimum five years of experience providing field services and or customer support for hardware and software products
- In depth knowledge of data centre environments, servers, and network equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with customers
- Demonstrated leadership skills across broad and diverse functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask with limited supervision
- Experience leading global projects
- Project Management Professional certification
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract. Must have the right to work in the EU. Some occasional travel may be required.
