Project values typically range from £100m–£500m, delivered via complex multi-package contracting strategies across enabling works, civils, M&E and commissioning.

- Drive project delivery strategy, including contracting approach, sequencing and risk mitigation
- Manage multiple EPC and contractor packages, ensuring effective interface coordination across all disciplines
- Own programme, cost, risk and commercial performance at project and portfolio level
- Lead high-value contract negotiations and maintain strong contractor and supplier relationships
- Act as the senior interface across development, engineering, grid and investment stakeholders
- Ensure robust governance, reporting and alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has extensive experience delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure or energy projects (£100m+)
- Has operated at Project Director / Senior Project Director level within an EPC contractor, developer or principal contractor environment
- Comes from an engineering or construction-led background, with clear accountability for delivery
- Is comfortable leading both strategically and tactically, with a hands-on approach to problem solving
- Has strong commercial acumen, particularly across contract strategy and negotiation
- Is experienced managing multi-disciplinary projects and complex contractor interfaces
Relevant backgrounds may include:
- Power
- 275kV Substations
- Grid Infrastructure
- Interconnectors
