We are pleased to be working on behalf of a global insurance provider, who require an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their growing UK construction/engineering department underwriting and producing insurance and reinsurance business within authority levels.
Responsibilities
- Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting of cases in a consistent and technical manner within the authority limit.
- You will act as the primary contact for larger sized domestic and international clients.
- You will support more junior underwriters within the team, acting as a mentor.
Experience
- Candidates need to come from an engineering or construction underwriting background and have knowledge of the UK or international construction market.
- You will be calm, flexible, diplomatic and have strong commercial acumen.
- You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and CRM systems.
