This is not a traditional chartering role. • Actively engage with the market to generate and convert new business leads
  • Commercial Structuring & Deal Execution
    • Lead the development of competitive commercial proposals for LNG transport projects
    • Structure deals considering financing, chartering models, and tax efficiencies
    • Manage tender processes from initial bid through to final award
    • Lead complex commercial negotiations with clients and stakeholders
  • Project Ownership
    • Oversee the full lifecycle of LNG shipping projects
    • Support newbuild vessel projects from concept through to delivery
    • Ensure a seamless handover to asset management and operations teams
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
  • Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Management
    • Monitor LNG shipping markets, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
    • Maintain close relationships with brokers, partners, and internal global teams
    • Provide strategic insights and updates to senior leadership
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with international teams across commercial, technical, and finance functions
    • Mentor and support junior team members where required

About You

Key Experience

  • Proven experience in LNG shipping, chartering, or energy transport
  • Strong background in commercial negotiations and contract structuring
  • Experience working on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects
  • Exposure to tender processes, project development, or long‑term transport agreements

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to originate, develop, and close high‑value deals
