The company has built an exceptionally strong consumer brand, supported by a huge global digital audience and millions of highly engaged users across its platform and content channels. They are now looking to hire a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to partner closely with the CMO and Marketing leadership team. Marketing sits at the heart of the company’s growth engine, with significant investment across performance marketing, brand and customer acquisition.
The team is looking to connect with exceptional commercial finance operators who have built their careers in hypergrowth consumer tech, D2C or ecommerce environments. Candidates will need to have partnered with marketing or growth teams previously, either in a dedicated marketing finance capacity or as part of a broader commercial finance remit. Beyond experience, the bar for this hire is extremely high. The business is looking for individuals with outstanding commercial judgement, natural gravitas and the ability to thrive in a fast moving scale up culture.
The Role: This is a high impact commercial finance role focused on marketing performance and investment effectiveness. You will act as the lead finance partner to Marketing, working closely with the CMO and senior leadership to shape how marketing investment drives customer growth.
- Acting as finance partner to the CMO and marketing leadership team
- Owning planning, forecasting and reporting across the Marketing P&L
- Supporting the evaluation and optimisation of marketing investment across paid and brand channels
- Translating marketing and customer metrics such as CAC, LTV and ROAS into clear commercial insight
- Building models and analysis to support both tactical and longer term decisions
We are particularly interested in speaking with people who:
- Have built their careers in commercial finance, finance business partnering or FP&A roles within high growth consumer tech, D2C or ecommerce businesses
- Have operated in environments where paid marketing and customer acquisition are key drivers of growth
- Have previously partnered with a CMO or senior marketing leadership on marketing performance or investment decisions
- Are exceptionally strong communicators, comfortable influencing senior leadership stakeholders
