Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge? I am recruiting for a
Purchasing Manager to lead supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and ensure the smooth delivery of goods and services across a fast-paced catering operation.
Key Duties
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best value.
- Manage supplier performance, contracts, and KPIs.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to improve service and reduce costs.
- Lead tender (RFP) processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse spend, manage price variances (PPV/IPV), and identify savings opportunities.
- Drive supplier innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.
Experience required
- Minimum
- 3 years' procurement/purchasing experience
(catering or food industry).
- Background in
- FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or food production
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
- Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
