Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical design and strategic decisions within the enterprise architecture domain (data architecture).
- Communicate with senior stakeholders, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Utilize best practices, emerging technologies, and approaches to lead and inspire architects towards meeting organizational goals.
- Conduct horizon scanning for external influences or risks and support the successful delivery of long-term strategies.
- Ensure that services are delivered consistently and efficiently through the application of recognized industry architectural principles and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A broad IT background with significant experience in an architectural role.
- Proficiency in using modelling tools and documenting as-is and to-be processes.
- Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- A technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Membership in a professional body such as the British Computer Society or being a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).
