CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Van mobile maintenance engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract with key sites in London. The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company is offering a salary of up to £46,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Package & Working Hours
- Basic Salary of up to £46,000
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am–17:00 pm
- 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Van & Fuel Card

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis within service level agreements.
- Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
- Maintain and update Log books.
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Requirements
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2&3
- Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2
- City & Guilds – 18th Edition
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
- Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
- Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
