A London market insurance organisation is seeking a compliance assurance specialist for a 9 month fixed-term contract. You will provide leadership and manage delivery of a global assurance programme to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across the UK, Australia, Europe, US and Bermuda.
Salary will be circa £100,000 - £125,000 + bonus (pro‐rata).
In this role, you will:
- Manage and assist in leading the delivery of the annual monitoring plan including thematic inspections, specific technical focus reviews and regular monitoring activities.
- Manage a dynamic monitoring process, incorporating stakeholder feedback and regularly reviewing the monitoring plan to ensure it focuses on the key business regulatory current and emerging needs.
- Identify operationally efficient processes to enhance delivery of the compliance monitoring plan, including the use of data analytics and technology, and supporting the associated development of SOPs for the compliance assurance function.
- Prepare and present Executive and Board level presentations.
- Coach, develop and motivate junior members of the team.
- Support the development of the wider compliance team, its processes and approach.
It is essential for this role that you have at least 5 years experience of working in compliance monitoring / assurance at a senior level. You will be experienced in carrying out thematic reviews, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will have delivered a compliance monitoring programme.
