Our client, a highly ranked international firm, is seeking a Senior Associate / Legal Director to join their Energy & Natural Resources team. The team acts for a broad range of clients, including project sponsors and developers, infrastructure and private equity funds, institutional investors, utilities and energy majors, lenders and multilateral institutions, and EPC and construction contractors.

The team supports clients throughout the full lifecycle of a project — from early-stage development and structuring, through construction and financing, to refinancing, restructuring, and the sale and purchase of both operational and pipeline assets.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have 5+ years’ PQE in projects, construction, energy, infrastructure or finance
  • lead the drafting and negotiation of complex project, construction and finance documentation
  • take primary responsibility for managing transactions, including supervising junior lawyers and coordinating multi-jurisdictional teams
  • provide strategic advice to clients on risk allocation, structuring and execution of projects
  • play a key role in client relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor on ongoing and new matters
