We are supporting a global organisation undertaking a critical redesign of its compliance learning landscape across regulated environments. This engagement is part of a wider learning transformation programme, including the introduction of a new learning platform, and the simplification of complex, fragmented systems, processes and data. This is a pure design‑phase role (no implementation), running through to the end of Q3, and requires credible external expertise — someone who can confidently assess the current state and clearly articulate how it should work. There is a focus on Quality, Supply Chain (QSC) and R&D, operating within GxP‑regulated environments.
As a Lead GxP Learning Compliance specialist, you will lead the design of a simplified, standardised compliance learning framework. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and functional experts, bringing clarity to a complex landscape and providing authoritative recommendations that balance regulatory risk with business value. This role is suited to someone who understands how learning operates within GxP processes, rather than someone focused purely on learning operations or pure GxP in isolation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design of a future‑state compliance learning framework across GxP‑regulated environments
- Diagnosing issues across learning systems, processes and data, and identifying root causes of complexity
- Redesigning end‑to‑end compliance learning processes using structured methodologies (e.g. Lean)
- Defining how learning should operate within GxP process areas to remain audit‑ready while adding value
- Providing clear, credible recommendations to senior leaders on how to improve the current model
- Designing simplified global, local and role‑based curricula, with appropriate re‑certification approaches
- Producing a high‑level design roadmap and success measures to support subsequent implementation
About You
You are a trusted SME who can operate as a Lead GxP Learning and Compliance Consultant, bringing both confidence and pragmatism to senior stakeholder discussions.
Essential experience:
- Experience in GxP‑regulated environments (manufacturing, quality, supply chain or R&D)
- Credibility as a subject matter expert who can challenge and influence senior leaders
- Experience designing or reshaping compliance learning frameworks (not just delivery)
- Understanding of how learning integrates into GxP processes and supports audit readiness
- Ability to balance regulatory risk with learning effectiveness and business value
- Comfortable working autonomously in fast‑paced, ambiguous transformation programmes
- Background in pharmaceutical or closely related regulated industries
- Consulting or advisory experience within large, complex organisations
