We are currently looking for ambitious graduates to join one of the world's leading Investment Managers based in their London office. Currently managing over £200bn in AUM, this firm develops customised investment strategies that address unique objectives, requirements and tolerance for risk. They develop solutions by leveraging their risk management tools and utilising a highly disciplined investment process that relies on fundamental analysis.
This role is a key position within the organisation, performing trade responsibilities and communicating with all brokers and custodians for trades executed by the trade desk in a timely, accurate manner. You will be responsible for the monitoring of and response to all corporate actions. All training will be provided.
Responsibilities:- Prepare documents for trade settlement communications with brokers, custodians and clients.
- Work with brokers and custodians to verify and confirm each trade executed by the trade desk.
- Consistently research, correct, maintain and communicate issues that relate to potential risks to the company.
- Preparation of reports and presentations for clients.
- Ensure that all trades, reports and requests are communicated accurately to clients in a timely fashion.
- Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
- Maintenance/updating of the Settlements Manual.
- Ensure all corporate actions are responded to in a timely manner.
- Research problems to identify and proactively correct solutions.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with ad hoc queries.
- Participate in the Custodial Retrieval Process.
- Assist in the development of daily transaction/position system upload and reconciliation.
- Degree Educated.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Passionate about learning.
- Basic knowledge of investments, fixed income, equity markets, derivatives and FX.
- Strong team player and willingness to work.
- Ability to work under strict time constraints and prioritise workload.
