We are currently looking for ambitious graduates to join one of the world's leading Investment Managers based in their London office. Currently managing over £200bn in AUM, this firm develops customised investment strategies that address unique objectives, requirements and tolerance for risk. They develop solutions by leveraging their risk management tools and utilising a highly disciplined investment process that relies on fundamental analysis. This role is a key position with the organisation.

Performing trade responsibilities communicating with all brokers and custodians for trades executed by the trade desk in a timely, accurate manner. Responsible for the monitoring of and response to all corporate actions. All training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documents for trade settlement communications with brokers, custodians and clients.
  • Work with brokers and custodians to verify and confirm each trade executed by the trade desk.
  • Consistently research, correct, maintain and communicate issues that relate to potential risks to the company.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for clients.
  • Ensure that all trades, reports and requests are communicated accurately to clients in a timely fashion.
  • Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
  • Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
  • Maintenance/updating of the Settlements Manual.
  • Ensure all corporate actions are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Research problems to identify and proactively correct solutions.
  • Assist Portfolio Managers with ad hoc queries.
  • Participate in the Custodial Retrieval Process.
  • Assist in the development of daily transaction/position system upload and reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Degree Educated.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Passionate about learning.
  • Basic Knowledge of investments, fixed income, equity markets, derivatives and FX.
  • Strong team and willingness to work.
  • Ability to work under strict time constraints, and prioritise workload.
